Our Story

Incontrol Physio was established in order to provide physiotherapy services to all population groups. With over 25 years experience each  physiotherapists  Trish and Sharyn have the knowledge and expertise to help achieve the best possible outcome for their clients. They are  passionate about helping everyone.

Trish Cooper

Principal Physiotherapist

Trish has over 25 years experience working in Private Practice in the Sutherland Shire. She is a passionate physiotherapist committed to helping all population groups achieve their best. She is experienced treating athletes with the Sutherland Shire Netball Association, elderly clients, coordinating seniors group and Pilates classes, and all injuries resulting from sedentary occupations, work injuries etc.

In more recent years Trish has also developed an interest in Women's Health, pregnancy related conditions and Lymphoedema. She has furthered her knowledge in all areas and is now also an Accredited Lymphoedema Practitioner.

Sharyn Wappett

Sharyn graduated from the University of Sydney in 1992 with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy).  For the last 25 years she has worked in private practice in the city and then Annandale, where for 13 years she owned and ran her own successful practice, treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions and injuries.

 

Over the last five years Sharyn has furthered her education to focus on oncology physiotherapy and pelvic health.  Sharyn’s expertise is in the management of the side effects of treatment for cancer – in particular lymphoedema, fatigue, physical decline, post-op scar tissue and cording.  Sharyn also specialises in pelvic floor rehabilitation in men (particularly following prostate cancer) and women throughout all stages of life.  In addition to this Sharyn has a special interest in pelvic pain in both men and women.
